Kelle needs to hire an appeal attorney.  In hindsight we, the family, should have launched this effort from the beginning and hired a private defense attorney.  However, since there was no physical evidence, we were confident that Kelle would gain his freedom.

 

As most people know, defense attorneys are very expensive.  Fees will cost tens of thousands of dollars and could go into the six-figure range.  Family members have already started to sell off or borrow against their personal properties to help pay for the fees.  However much equity we have, it will simply not be enough.
